High-Power Rocketry is a joint project between AIAA and SEDS at UCF. Students compete in competitions including FAR 1030 and IREC 2021, intercollegiate rocket locations located in the Mojave Desert, CA and Spaceport America, NM. Join to contribute to a massive hybrid rocket carrying CubeSats to 10,000 feet!

Students get an opportunity to learn machining in the manufacturing lab, work with rocket propulsion, layup composite material, program flight computers, design and build payloads, perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA), and more!
